Curtains and blinds solve different problems, and the pricing math differs too: curtains are priced by fabric width (plan for roughly two to two-and-a-half times the window width for proper fullness), while blinds are priced per window at your measured size. Blinds win on precise light control, privacy, and a clean fit; curtains win on warmth, sound, and softness — which is why many rooms use both, blinds for control and drapery for the finish. If you’re ordering custom blinds, confirm the deduction against the seller’s measuring guide; they are generally not returnable.
