Hold-Down Brackets

Hold-down brackets are small clips installed at the bottom of a blind that the bottom rail pins into, keeping the covering flat against the surface instead of swinging. They matter most on doors — a French or patio door blind swings with every open unless it’s held down — and on in-swinging casement windows. They are usually a free or low-cost add-on you opt into at order time, not a default. If you’re ordering for a door, ask for them explicitly; retrofitting later means matching hardware to a blind you already own. A useful, unglamorous part that solves a specific, annoying problem.
