No-Drill / Tension Mount
No-drill options let you hang a covering without screwing into the frame: tension rods that press-fit inside the opening, and bracket adapters that clamp onto the top sash of a tilt-in window. For renters and anyone avoiding holes, they’re genuinely useful — and honest coverage names the limits. They suit lighter shades (cellular, light rollers) over narrow-to-medium widths; they don’t hold heavy wood blinds or very wide spans, and clamp adapters need a compatible window type. They also can’t deliver a true blackout seal. Weigh capacity and window compatibility are the specs to confirm, not the marketing phrase “no tools required.”
