Continuous Cord Loop
A continuous cord loop is a beaded chain that runs in a closed loop to raise heavy shades with less effort than a cordless lift — useful on wide or tall cellular and roller shades where a spring lift would be a struggle. Because it’s a loop, it must be installed with the included cord-tension device anchored to the wall or sill; that anchor is not optional decoration — it keeps the loop taut and removes the accessible-loop hazard the safety standards target. If you choose a corded-loop lift for a big window, install the tensioner. In homes with young children, motorized is the cleaner answer to the same weight problem.
